Rasheda Jackson, 2014-2016

Rasheda is the Assistant Village Attorney for Oak Park, Illinois, where she lives with her family. In this role, she provides in-house counsel to administrative staff and the Village Board, and directs the services provided by outside counsel.

John Antia, 2013-2016

Currently, John is the senior immigration attorney at Sarikas Law Group, LLC in Chicago, Illinois, where he manages the immigration department. Prior to this position, was an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Rosalba Pina, P.C., also in Chicago.

Barbara Long, 2010-2013

After leaving Shiller Preyar, Barbara joined the sexual misconduct law firm, Vogt & Long P.C., in Portland, Oregon where she focuses on representing survivors of sexual abuse in civil actions against the individuals and institutions responsible for the abuse. She also volunteers for the Legal Aid Services of Oregon-Volunteer Lawyers Project and the Victim Rights Law Center.

Chastidy Burns, 2013-2014

Chastity now serves as an Assistant Public Defender in Cook County; she sits on the Board of Directors of both the University of Chicago Alumni Club of Chicago; and of Just the Beginning--A Pipeline Organization, dedicated to increasing diversity in the legal profession. She is also the 2017-2018 Vice-President of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Greater Chicago

Nebula Li, 2013-2014

Now a staff attorney at the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic in Chicago, Nebula focuses their practice on family and immigration law. Since leaving Shiller Preyar Nebula has worked for multiple social justice oriented organizations, including Community Activism Law Alliance, Justice For Our Neighbors, and Asian Americans Advancing Justice--Chicago.

Clinton Davis, 2014-2015

Since 2015 Clinton has been a Trial Attorney at the Chicago-based Vrdolyak Law Group LLC, where he focuses on the area of civil litigation.

Whitney Williams, 2013-2015

Whitney is a legal fellow/staff attorney at Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem where she practices a holistic type of criminal defense. Prior to moving to New York City she was a law clerk for the Cook County Public Defender's Office in the Homicide Task Force, and managed the Self Help Web Center which helps plaintiffs and defendants understand court documents.

Ashley is a comedian, actor, and writer who lives in Los Angeles, California. She has been nominated three times for the Primetime Emmy Awards as a writer and correspondent on Comedy Central's Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.

Kemi is an Assistant Professor of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Washington.

 She focuses her classes and own work on issues specifically facing black women in urban spaces.
