New Fi-Vo App Records Video of Police Misconduct
Our colleagues at the Fourtis Law Office have created the Fi-Vo Film app for recording and protecting video of police misconduct.
Victims and witnesses of police misconduct often have the problem that police officers deleted the videos they'd recorded of their interactions. This is a difficult and frustrating problem when it comes to pursuing police misconduct cases. The Fi-Vo Film app promises a solution.
When users pull up the app your phone automatically starts recording video—there is no need to hit the record button. While shooting, the video automatically saves to the user's Dropbox account. In the event the phone is confiscated, broken or the files deleted, the video itself remains safely online for later retrieval.
it is unfortunate that the Fi-Vo Film app needs to exist, yet it provides victims of police abuse a much-needed tool to protect themselves and their cases against their perpetrators.
